In the Streets of Little Havana

I originally wanted to go to Miami because I heard that there was a street festival in Little Havana called "Calle Ocho Festival". My wonderful public transportation app told me that it would take me two and a half hours to get there. Not very in the mood for such a long trip, I went to Wynwood as you know. Only 64 bus stops, by the way (I don't want to know, how many it would have been to go to Little Havana). But still, I had to think of the street festival, because just the description  "Enjoy hip-shaking rhythms of Latin music from Salsa to Hip Hop" made me dance in my mind. According to the motto "Who cares, I'm just here once." I took a Uber taxi, which is super easy here in America, while you have to pay the general taxi fees in Berlin. So I shared the car with two other people and got to Little Havana in 10 minutes. Just saying, because the bus would have taken more than one hour from Wynwood. Seriously Miami, you guys have to improve your public transportation.
Entering the street festival, I decided to walk around a little to get an overview. No one told me that the festival would span 19 blocks. It took me two hours to explore the whole festival, just adding that I'm not a slowly walker. My head full of impressions, I walked by thousands of food stands and souvenir shops by 30°C and a little rain . I sometimes stopped to take a look at the stages and - the best thing - I watched the people dancing to south american rhythms on the streets - and the people there had salsa in their blood. I think more Cuba is not possible in North America. I wish I would be able to catch moments with feelings, smells and just everything. I'm sure you would have loved it!
